What's Renewed, What's Canceled, and What's Still In Between? (2013 Edition)
by TV.com Staff
There's going to be a lot of TV news happening in the next few weeks, but sifting through all the headlines and jibber-jabber can be a real pain in the buttocks! All you want to know is, "Has my favorite show been renewed or canceled or is it in some weird production limbo?" Well that's what we're here for!
Below you'll find a comprehensive, show-by-show status update as we head into the Upfronts, where final decisions will be made on almost every network program. We've placed each show in one of five different categories: 1. Renewed, 2. Likely Renewal, 3. On the Bubble (meaning their fate could go either way), 4. Likely Cancellation, 5. Canceled.
And if we might take a moment to toot our own horn, unlike other sites, we've desegregated cable and broadcast shows (fight! fight! for cable's rights!) and included a ton of programs from higher up on the dial, too. You can filter the list by network, name, and status to help you find what you're looking for even faster. We'll update this list as news happens, so be sure to bookmark it and keep checking back.
Note that you can also combine the filters, i.e. you can select a few networks and multiple letters in the event that you only want to know the statuses of programs that begin with "R" or "G" on History, Fox, and Showtime or whatever. And if you're looking for a show whose title starts with "The," you'll find under it under "T." To return to the master list, just hit the "Clear All" in the bottom right corner of the menu.
Finally, here's the boring disclaimer: As always, information is subject to change, and putting together a giant list like this isn't easy. If you think something is incorrect or missing, leave a note in the comments or send a tweet to @tvdotcom or @TimAtTVdotcom and we'll look into it as soon as we can.

YOUR TAKE
We're thinking this one's a goner, but given NBC's current state of affairs, anything could happen. Though if it does get axed, we won't miss it.
Max and Caroline will return, even though the cupcake shop failed.
Liz Lemon and the TGS gang went out with a satisfying (and touching!) series finale on January 31, 2013. We'll miss her, but honestly, with the state NBC is in, maybe it's better this way.
The only thing truly scary about this ABC horror show was the way it squandered its potential. Better luck next time, Terry O'Quinn!
Honestly, we're surprised this one lived to see Season 5.
Sadly, we'll never know why Gary was unaffected by Stanton Parish's strobe attack, or what happened to Rachel, Nina, Rosen, and the rest of the DCIS.
The next cycle—ANTM's 20th!—will feature guys *and* girls. No premiere date has been set.
Ended after ten seasons in December, 2012.
Season 8 will begin this fall.
Season 3 will be set in New Orleans and feature witches! Look for it in October, just in time for Halloween.
Fox hasn't yet re-upped the almost-a-teenager singing competition for Season 13, but even though the show's ratings are down, there's no way the network is ready to let it go. [Update 5/13: Officially a go for midseason 2014.]
This one won't be going anywhere for a long, long time: It's only in Season 2, and it has as a syndication-guaranteeing 100-episode order.
We still kinda miss the monkey.
After the big revelations in the spy show's Sealab tribute of a Season 4 finale, we're quite excited to see what Season 5 has in store.
Currently in Season 7, but it could be its last.
The most popular kid in The CW's 2012-2013 freshmen class, of COURSE it's renewed!
Season 3 began on April 16, so technically it's too early to tell whether this is a "likely renewal" or a "likely cancellation," hence the show's bubble status.
Season 2 premiered in March, and the show is already renewed for Season 3.
There will be no slut-shaming and catfighting this summer, but this could easily come back at any time.
Carlton Cuse's Psycho-prequel continues to improve as Season 1 progresses, and even though we initially had sustainability concerns, we're looking forward to what Season 2 might bring.
We have no idea what The CW was thinking, but yes, BATB will be back for Season 2.
Season 4 should be back in early 2014.
The most adorable cutesy-wutesy show to get canceled all season long!
As long as cameras exist, this will air. On to Season 15!
This Friday night anchor is coming back.
Back for another toast, and this time it's bringing Patricia Arquette.
Order up! We love saying that when Bob's Burgers gets renewed! Okay yeah it's getting old, you're right.
It was a miracle that Dana Delaney's grumpy medical examiner drama ever made it to Season 2; whether it can do it again will likely depend on what ABC thinks of its development slate. [Update 5/10: DOA.]
Fired after two seasons.
Not just renewed, but also expanded to an hour-long live show!
The final eight episodes of the series begin airing on Sunday, August 11. Depending how you look at it, they either comprise the second half of Season 5 or the entirety of Season 6. Assuming they air uninterrupted for eight straight weeks, that would place the series finale on Sunday, September 29.
